So I realised it was high time to start updating this website, as two years can pass quickly!
And what a time to be updating it! These past few months have been absolutely crazy, so here's a brief recap of what's been happening in 2025:
Longlisted for the prestigious Smokelong Flash Fiction Award
Finalist in the London Independent Story Prize flash fiction competition
Selected for the Freedom to Write award
Selected for the Stinging Fly Summer School with Michael Magee (yes, the Michael Magee)
Runner up in the From the Well short story competition and invited to read at the West Cork Literary Festival (more on that later!)
Had two essays published (one on emotional writing with Intrepidus Ink, and one on voice with Frazzled Lit) - links below
Stories published in Trasna, Intrepidus Ink, the Remington Review, Fahmidan Journal (links below)
Selected for a Date with an Agent at the International Literary Festival Dublin - and met and discussed my novel with the wonderful Nicola Barr
And it's only July!
I am currently redrafting my novel and hope to have it out on submission to agents soon, and have also amassed a fair few short stories to find homes for!
So, I will be updating this website (hopefully with good news) more regularly, as well as sharing some thoughts and insights along the way.
But for now, back to the grind.
